ISR School: Time Lapse and Group Photo

Photo & Video Sharing by SmugMug
In the mornings, fog gathers in the valleys around the Arecibo Observatory, including the radar dish. EISCAT Director Craig Heinselman placed a GoPro time-lapse camera at the observation platform to monitor the warming up of the dish. Click above to watch the resulting movie.

This morning we also took the group photograph of the school. If you want the full resolution image, please click above. But beware, it's 8.2MB and 20 megapixel.

Also, Craig, who is an avid photographer, makes his photos available on-line. The group photos are on Craig's gallery, too. Have a look!
